We integrate sustainability across every aspect of our company, from how we design and manufacture products to the way we operate our facilities. The climate crisis makes our sustainability initiatives all the more urgent, and we’re stepping up our efforts across the board to reduce our impact. At the same time, such sustainability challenges also bring an opportunity.

Our innovative products contribute to conserving resources and protecting the environment. At the same time, we help our clients manufacture with lower emissions and energy-efficiently, and assist them in enhancing the safety of their products and support their ESG goals.

Minimizing our impact on the planet means being more efficient across our operations and supply chain. Moving forward, we will evolve and guide our efforts to reduce the energy, emissions, water and waste from all aspects of our business. Our customers expect environmentally responsible products – both made and use. By reducing the environmental footprint of our products, we can meet customer expectations, stay ahead of ever-evolving regulations and do what’s right for the planet.

Training & Development

At Amazon we aim to have a positive impact on society – both within our company and outside it – supporting not only our employees, but our customers, partners and wider communities. We have been focusing our efforts on embracing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as our approach to, training & development & philanthropic giving.

China, 2021

Amazon Papyrus Chemicals Shanghai Office donated a total of 6,368 packs of tissue and paper towels to the Shanghai Children's Welfare Home located in Zhongchun Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. As a caring entity, we will continue to care and support them.

India, 2021

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), Amazon Papyrus Chemicals India Office donated two ambulances to a Government Hospital in Rangareddy, Telangana. During COVID-19 pandemic situation in India, it will help the members of the society greatly.

Hong Kong, 2021

We donated the masks to the poor in Sham Shui Po. The restaurant owner helped us to distribute the masks with free box lunch to people in need.

Thailand, 2020

Hand sanitizers are shortage in Thailand during Covid-19 pandemic. Amazon Papyrus Chemicals Thailand Plant distributed alcohol for hand sanitizers & cleaning, PPE and Masks to the hospitals.

Thailand, 2020

In the same year, our Thailand office collaborated with our tissue customer, BERLI JUCKER CELLOX CO., LTD. in a tree planting projects at their Bangplee and Prachinburi sites. The aim of the project is to increase the green area, conserve and improve the mill environment.

India, 2014

China, 2014

To cooperate with local Education Department and the Charity ”U-Hearts”, Amazon Papyrus Chemicals donated to build a school in China. The school name is Amazon Wang Wan Primary School which is located at Wuzhou, GuangXi Province, China.

Hong Kong, 2013

As one of caring company, we periodically arrange charity activities for elderly, single parent family, orphan, etc. We intend to make a positive difference to society and contribute our share towards the social cause of betterment of society and area in which our company operates.

Myanmar, 2013

Amazon Papyrus Chemicals provided the funding to build Ywa Thar Aye Primary School in Myanmar in 2013, through a UK charity organisation.

EHS policy

We operate with the greatest care for the safety, health and the environment for our employees and the countries we engage with. Our EHS policy guilds our operations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; fostering a work culture that embraces safety and health; and holding employees, suppliers and contractors accountable for working safely. We implement our EHS Policy through our EHS management system that guides our actions and tracks key performance indicators to manage our risks and drive continuous improvement.

Sustainability Report

We aim to provide a connected view of different aspects of our performance, financial and non-financial, enabling our stakeholders to have a holistic view of our company. Our annual Sustainability Report chronicles our approach to corporate responsibility, which is about embedding sustainable thinking across all aspects of our operations as it is integral to the long-term success of Amazon Papyrus Chemical.
